Staring at the stars at L'Etoile

Our event at L'Etoile started with meeting an old friend of Cuchi, Monster Cat. Monster Cat, being a fashion enthusiast and chic hide out lover, agreed to get out of the house to visit Le Etoile together with Cute Cute the lion.
Hang on, I need to grab my bag!

Ready to take the giant leap to the star
Situated at the central eastern part of Singapore, Le Etoile is located at a little corner of Dorset Road and Owen Road. In fact, that little corner does really brings me to a part of Singapore which is not really Singapore. I think the condos of Kentish lodge and other similar condos add to the atmosphere. But moving inside, we were surprised to find that Le Etoile has 2 levels. Being cats and lions, we went up to higher grounds. Quirky designs and cosy surroundings greeted us as we entered the room. Reminds me of stepping into the mirror world of Alice in Wonderland.
Reminds me of either wonderland or a playschool

Old fashion and new fashion chairs!
As we were there for brunch, we were famished by the time we ordered our grub. Items ordered were chocolate brownie, all day breakfast (only available on weekend and PH), long black, flat white, cappuccino and a cupcake. Brownie was very chocolaty and tasty! I like the little bits of sugar that did not really melt as it gives it some crunchiness. The all day breakfast was rather ordinary but it was good attempt at $9.50 nett. Lion's long black was ordinary but smooth. Same goes for Cuchi's flat white.

All day breakfast (with your choice of eggs. Poached for mine)

Lion's favorite part of the meal came at last when the smoked duck ciabatta was served. Being a  meat appreciator, lion enjoyed the smoked duck ciabatta most and at $5.50, it's a steal! Crisp ciabatta with heavily flavored smoked duck, the combination came out just nice. Comes with a serving of chips as well! The green tea cup cake was nice as well. Dark green coloured icing/cream laced the cupcake and gives it an extra oohmp to the sweet cupcake. Both the cupcake and brownie are great complements to a long black.
