Little Australia at Kooka Cafe

Today is Mother's Day and Cute Cute and Cuchi would like to wish all mothers out there, a blessed Mother's Day. And what better occasion to celebrate Mummy's day by bringing her to a little joint called Kooka Cafe which pride themselves to serve home cook food.
Meow? Oh hi Mum! Blessed Mother's Day
Located at Purvis Street, Kooka Cafe is not hard to find. Once Cute Cute found the Hainanese restaurants nearby, he knew that he is close by. With a minimalistic decor, Kooka Cafe has a very laid back feel which makes you feel like whiling your time away while enjoying your pastries and sandwiches.

Kooka Cafe emits a Australian feel and with their gorgeous pastries and tasty sandwiches, one can really imagine that they are in one of the hole in a wall cafes down under. The Lions found themselves a comfortable place to sit down and started to order. Cute Cute got himself a roast beef sandwich and Cuchi got a bowl of Tomato soup and some pastries.
Roast Beef Sandwich: Savory and nice. The vegetables compliment the beef well. However, it is a bit expensive at $9
Tomato Soup: Very wholesome and has the homecook taste. Tangy and slightly sweet.
Assorted Cookies: The assorted cookies and biscotti are a real treat. You have to try it to know how good it is. Plus they sell it by weight!
The Lions spent quite a long time there relaxing and watching the crowd goes by. They were also in for a treat when Lauren (one of the owners) came out to dress up a cake.
Kooka Cafe is a really cool spot to hang out to spend your lazy Saturday afternoon. Good food, nice ambience and pleasant company made it so.... The only qualm that the Lions had about Kooka was that the food (just the food) was a bit expensive. Cute Cute's guess was that you are paying a premium for fresh and home cook food....
